The Fashion designers of Kiwi fashion label Twenty Seven Names have been awarded with the $10,000 DHL Express Fashion Export Scholarship for 2010, and are set to make an impact on the global fashion market.
DHL, the world's leading express and logistics company, announced the designers behind Twenty Seven Names, Anjali Stewart and Rachel Easting, as the winners of the 2010 DHL Express Fashion Export Scholarship at an event in Auckland, establishing them as New Zealand’s top emerging fashion Clothing Manufacturers exporters.
The scholarship, in its third year, was open to New Zealand fashion designers who have been selling offshore for less than four years. Applicants were asked to submit a design portfolio and key trading figures, as well as an export and marketing strategy for the next 12 months.

They have a focused strategy, and a particularly impressive exporting portfolio, with strong growth in Australia, and emerging growth in Hong Kong and the US. The DHL Express Fashion Export Scholarship aims to help Twenty Seven Names achieve even more success overseas, and create a platform for them to expand into different markets.”
