ECO SWIM by AQUA GREEN Made-in-US collection makes waves

ECO SWIM by AQUA GREEN is proud to be one of the very few manufactures that continue to produce in the United States of America. Creating American jobs is a fringe benefit of being sustainable and manufacturing your product as close as possible to the end user.

“Labor Day was an important holiday for us. We have generations of families working alongside our family in our facilities,” says Alex Waldman, fourth generation family member of AQUA GREEN. “Our success as a brand is tied to the health and future of our employees. We simply could not try to work on an environmental message without the contribution and achievements of American workers”.

By manufacturing their swimsuits domestically, ECO SWIM by AQUA GREEN has reduced the use of fossil fuel up to 96.9%. AQUA GREEN also sources its materials locally whenever possible. Sourcing locally will have a positive economic impact and is socially responsible.

ECO SWIM by AQUA GREEN is made with Repreve, a nylon made from recycled plastics. Repreve is produced domestically by Unifi in North Carolina. A swimsuit made from recycled nylon means less trash ending up in our oceans, and less virgin oil needed for materials. AQUA GREEN is giving plastic as second chance by upcycling it into high quality fashion swimwear.

The ECO SWIM by AQUA GREEN 2013 collection is already making waves with even more innovations. AQUA GREEN continuously works to push new innovations to the market and plans to introduce cover-ups partially made from renewable sources such as corn and coffee.
