Mango introduces Spring-Summer Collection 2011. This new collection, called Modernist Resort, the brand is opting for a clean, modernist look with the emphasis on simple lines and minimalist silhouettes, which add energy through bright colours and graphic contrasts in stripes.

Fluidity is obtained through transparencies and lightweight fabrics, while the proportions are mischievously combined to achieve a modern look. Longer skirts evolve towards pencil and slightly fuller forms, offer movement and sensuality. Men’s sportswear details are added to the coordinated classics, soft tailoring and paper touch cotton fabrics. This produces boxy and A-line forms, which are contrasted with more flowing shapes.
